Ben 10 interesting Facts
"Ben 10" is an American animated television series created by Man of Action Studios and produced by Cartoon Network Studios.
The series first premiered on December 27, 2005, and ran for four seasons, ending on April 15, 2008.
The series follows the adventures of a young boy named Ben Tennyson, who discovers a strange alien device called the Omnitrix that allows him to transform into various alien creatures.
Ben 10 was created by a team of four comic book writers and artists, including Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, and Steven T. Seagle.
The series was inspired by the classic comic book series "Dial H for Hero," which featured a similar concept of a device that allowed its user to transform into various superheroes.
The series was initially intended to be a live-action television show, but it was later decided that an animated series would be more appropriate.
The show's main character, Ben Tennyson, was originally named "Benjamin Kirby" after the comic book artist Jack Kirby, but his name was changed before the show's premiere.
The Omnitrix, the device that allows Ben to transform into aliens, was originally going to be called the "Omnimatrix," but the name was changed before the show's premiere.
The Omnitrix was designed to be a portable version of the intergalactic "Codex," which contains the genetic codes of every known alien species in the universe.
The Omnitrix has the ability to scan an alien's DNA and allow Ben to transform into a copy of that alien, complete with its unique abilities and powers.
The Omnitrix also has a failsafe mechanism that allows it to time out and revert Ben back to his human form if he stays transformed for too long.
In the show's first season, Ben is only able to transform into ten different aliens, hence the name "Ben 10."
The ten aliens that Ben can transform into in the first season are Heatblast, Wildmutt, Diamondhead, XLR8, Grey Matter, Four Arms, Stinkfly, Ripjaws, Upgrade, and Ghostfreak.
The show's second season introduces several new aliens that Ben can transform into, including Cannonbolt, Wildvine, and Ditto.
The third season introduces even more new aliens, including Upchuck, Way Big, and Alien X.
In the show's fourth and final season, Ben gains the ability to transform into the "Ultimate" versions of his aliens, which are more powerful and have enhanced abilities.
The show's theme song, "Ben 10," was performed by a band called Moxy.
The show's opening sequence features footage of the band members performing the theme song interspersed with footage from the show.
The show's original voice cast includes Tara Strong as Ben Tennyson, Paul Eiding as Grandpa Max, and Steven Blum as Vilgax.
The show's voice cast also includes Dee Bradley Baker, who voices all of the alien creatures that Ben transforms into.
The show was a commercial and critical success, and it spawned numerous spin-offs, including "Ben 10: Alien Force," "Ben 10: Ultimate Alien," and "Ben 10: Omniverse."
"Ben 10: Alien Force" premiered on April 18, 2008, and introduced a new set of characters and aliens, as well as a more mature and serious tone.
"Ben 10: Ultimate Alien" premiered on April 23
